I just called the store and the guy at the store confirmed that neither do they carry Verizon phones nor do they have the V710!!!!!!

Saw an ad in a local wireless store offering the V710 on the 10th for $120 for new subscribers only. Don't know the upgrade price. I will try to scan the ad today. It's sounds like there is a small quantity out there, just not released yet. Who the hell knows for sure.

You will love this. Because of all the chatter I figured that I should call the guy back. Lo and behold, the V710 is supposedly being recalled. Jesus, how can you recall a phone that isn't out yet. I am going to stop by there today and get the full story.
Can Motorola and they said there is no recall and they should be out "sometime" this month. What a scam. This phone better have a teleporter on it for all the trouble it's caused.

I just called that store in AL where that guy says he got the phone. He did not. I work for Verizon and they come out at the same time nation wide.
