Stopped by Exec store in East Brunswick
Went in not looking for the v710 so I didn't look suspicious. I asked for the phones available with bluetooth and if they had Verizon plans.
The answer I got: only the v600 for AT&T which they dont even have in stock right now. In addition the store doesn't even carry Verizon phones or plans.

If that's true then the best case scenario is: let's say he did, indeed, get a V710 from this store today -- maybe he was sold sort of a "black market" testing model of the phone by someone who works in an otherwise legitimate place of business. That would explain why he doesn't have a receipt.
