That's because unlike GSM, they had other vXXX models since the v60 series and T720 series like the v70, v300, v400, v500, v525, etc. while in the CDMA camp never really had anything other than the V60 series like the v60s/p even after the T720/T730. And then the V710 is getting even GSM people interested too because the features whips the V600. ;)
