That all of these phone manufacturers (motorola in particular) customer service people are in india, pakistan, etc? I'm sorry, but I'm not going to talk to someone who is taking jobs away from americans. At least Verizon has some american representitives that I can talk to.

On a side note, this is my personal opinion, and if you don't like it, then you don't have to if you live in America, but if you don't, you may have to because your oppressionist governments don't let you do anything that doesn't involve absolutely nothing! Think about that guy! (and yes, I know this is going to start some thread with 100 replies and people saying all diffrent things, and that the top 2 sentences in this paragraph don't make sense. Isn't that the grea...

Ladies and gentlemen the Democratic party!

Hey, did you ever stop to think that if Moto did not outsource some of these jobs then the phone you have been waiting for would cost $850? Then you would complain about big business ripping off the middle class.

Not to mention that...

Most parts in your "American" car are made overseas (or Mexico)

VZW DOES use overseas call centers (as most companies do, due to the fact that call centers are "burden" accounts and do not generate revenue)

Also, let's see VZW partially owned by a European company, LG, Samsung, etc. are 100% designed, made and shipped from overseas.

Gee Scooter, I guess you are SOL when it comes to cell phones & service!

That assertion is bullshit. Moto could keep the jobs domestic and not raise the cost of products. It would ...

It's people like you who think Bush is doing an awesome job and think it's your "god given right" to do anything you like just because you're "American". You'd think that in light of everything that's happened in the past, people would realize that any kind of bigotry only adds to chaos and useless deaths of innocent people. I bet you're the type that supports pro-life, giving men the power to tell women what they can or cannot to with their bodies. Or the type that thinks all middle eastern people are terrorists.

The fact that you blame these people for working legit jobs at a company who went to their country to employ them as stealing from Americans is absolutely ignorant of you. If you are so upset about this, you shouldn't even b...

Not sure but how did George Bush get interjected here? Did he allude to his voting preference or is this just an inference? I voted and stand by George Bush and have no opinions like he posted.

I was wondering about that interjection, Myself.

I thought this was a forum about the Motorola v710... Has anyone called the Government? Maybe they can help (isn't that what Kerry wants us all to believe? That we should run to our government every time we are not happy? 😉 )

Oh, crap... Now I'm doing it (sorry... Back on topic for me!)

🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

Kerry would probably say that it is all Bush's fault that the V710 isn't out yet. Just another example as to how big business and this adminstration is holding us down and ruining the world! If I were president, I would put together a program to help subsidize the distribution of v710 phones to everyone.

Sorry couldn't resist... Now back to wild speculation as to when the phone will be out 😉 😉 😉

kissamee,
I would first like to thank you for your input, and it is respectfully noted! It is very refreshing to see someone who is not caught up in how everyone else feels and knows they have a voice. More power to you.

Now, I'm confused to which party is being speculated that I'm a part of. The first thread said democratic party, the second, says republican. Honestly, I really don't label myself. I find it's worthless, whomever I feel is the best candidate I choose.

Now, the only thing I am offended about is your tangit on "Klan meetings" and "I bet you're the type that supports pro-life, giving men the power to tell women what they can or cannot to with their bodies. Or the type that thinks all middle eastern people are terrorists...

Yes Verizon has SOME. The only reason they do is because the CWA and IBEW negotiated contracts to keep this work at home. Even so, they insist on provisions to move work a little each year. And I don't blame them. Any corporation would be foolish to forgo cheap labor. Problem is that if the current trend continues none of us will have a decent job. Cheap and cheaply made products yes; but no cash to spend! 😕
