What Verizon is doing...

We all believe that the phone is not out yet because of some programming problems, bugs, etc.. However, I personally think that Verizon is giving LG the spotlight and to hell with motorola. LG currently seems to have verizon's undevided attention. Picture all those execs at verizon laughing at us because they are holding the v710 in their hands while we wait for a "better product". Maybe this has been said before, but I just want to express my anger and frustration, which is really what this whole forum has become. A bunch of hard-working consumers wanting nothing more than a piece of technology than can make our lives a little easier or more pleasureable, a right that we retain as citizens of this great country. I just want a corporation to...

Although I don't disagree with your thought, I think mostly what they're doing is creating additional revenue. It seems like a good financial move on their part to wait more thatn 15 days from the 7000 release. That way, if people don't like their 7000s, they can make them buy the 710 instead of just trading it in on the Worry Free.

Don't get so mad about waiting for the phone. Every phone that we carry goes through lots of testing through many different hands. the phone will be coming in any day now and you will have your shot to buy one. we dont put the spot light on lg for any other reason other than they are great phones and customers, well most of the ones i deal with anyway prefer them over any other phone because they are easy to use and reliable. take it from me, i work in sales for verizon.

Hey everyone, I talked to a rep from Motorola today. They told me that the V710 is scheduled for release late July, early August. Ecko also speculates that the phone will release at that time. Since Ecko has been the most reliable source here and Motorola and Ecko say the same time frame. I think we now know our release time.

Hi Eric,

The last status update we got on the 710 is that it is awaiting ship acceptance, which means it is very close to launch! Your best bet would be to go to http://www.motorola.com/mdirect/hellomoto/exp erience/v710/flash/default.shtml and register to be notified when the phone launches. That way you will receive an e-mail the day it launches!

Regards,

Dawn

this is a reply email that i got from the motorola rep that i order phones from for my agency. hope it will help little does not give much info i am waiting just like everyone else.
