This will hopefully be the last time this comes up and I just wanted to clarify this so I don't see multiple threads steming from this.

You can have external picture caller id but the external screen resolution is so low and isn't in full color that you may not want to do that because the picture will look horrible.

You can also take a picture using the external screen but like I said since the resolution on the external screen is pitiful the picture will also look horrible.

Once and for all, hopefully, you CANNOT change the external screen at all. There is no option in the menu to change that setting in any way at all. The screen that you see in my pictures as well as The Alchemist pictures is the external screen and there ...

I think the easy way to explain to people about the external LCD versus the internal LCD is that using the specs...

The internal LCD is 176x220 pixels and 256K (262,000 colors) - this translates to 38,720 pixels.

The external LCD is 98 x 67 pixels which is 6566 pixels which is roughly 16.95% of the internal LCD's capability so there are less pixels. You need 160x160 atleast to have a decent picture on any portable device.

So the internal LCD has about 5.89 times the resolution of the external LCD. As for filesystem, I'll find out when the phone is out if P2KMan will even display anything.
