I went back through the forums of the vx 7000. I found that someone posted on June 23 that using the 99999 zipcode you could see the vx 7000 in verizons on line website under phones. I "think" it was released on July 1st if I am not mistaken. If so that was what 8 days prior to its release. 🙂

June 23 was definately the day that it showed up on the 99999 zip code but here in Cleveland the phone was for sale on June 25 which is 2 days later. So there really isn't any rhyme or reason as to a correlation between when they put the phone on the test site and when it's released to the public.

The VX7000 was released nationwide on the 28th of June (out earlier in the midwest). what held it up after it appeared on the VZW site was incorrect UPC codes on the labels of all of the boxes allreqady sent to the stores, so there was a recall, and new UPS placed on the boxes. Its funny, if you actually look at your box, there is a second lebel over it (validation). i cant rember who first posted hat comment about the UPCs, but you can be sure their posts are valid because thats a random bit of info for one to know. i know it was on howard forums, so id serach for it there and you might come up sith the guy who can give you more info about the release of the v710.... if it ever happens.

Thanks Mike. How can anybody have any more questions about what this phone has to offer? Unless Jesus himself gets into the wireless business this will be the phone I'm buying. I guess the only thing that is unknown is when and price. Someone at VZW send us a sign. Anything, any sign at all.
