Well, how many times can you return a phone? Can you keep returning one until you find one "you like?" (or in this threads case, until the 710 comes out)
I'm VZW customer service employee and yes, you can return a phone as many times as you wish too. This is part of our "Worry Free Guarantee"
Hope this helps 😁

Well that's a change in policy. When I last returned one of my new phones (about a yr. ago) I was forced to keep it. They told me I could not continue to return phones.
Exchanges
Within 15 days of purchase, you may exchange one wireless phone per new line of service. In order to make the exchange, you must return the original box, intact with all components (phone, charger, battery, instructions, etc.), in like-new condition. All exchanges must be accompanied with the original customer receipt and will only be granted to the purchaser whose name appears on the receipt.
I have called Verizon CS before and I asked them if I was going to get a phone and try that phone for 15 days while I was waitting for V710. If after 15 days and the phone did not come out, could I get another 15 days to try another phone? cause I really need another phone and I want to get the V710. Can you make this "Worry Free Guarantee" clear for me please?
(Example: on existing line of service)
Unfortunately, you will not be able to do this. You can go get a phone and try it out for 15 days and then return it and place your old phone back on the line while you wait for the V710. Basically, you can buy a phone, try it out for 15 days, take it back and get another one, but when you try to get the 3rd phone because you did not like the 2nd, you wont be able to. You will be stock with the second phone unless you speak with the store manager and advise him/her that you don't want the 2nd phone and want to go back to your old phone while you Wait for the upcoming phone. The same applies with a new line of service.
i have bought all the new camera phones and i have returned them all (except the VX7000). Each time, I explained to the customer service rep at the store that I was REAL skittish of the new phone. I told them that my phone had been working flawlessly and that I was affriad of getting something I didn't like. They were cool about that. Well, i got the VX6000. Tried it out for a little while, did not like it. I returned it and got my V60 reactivated. Out comes the 8900. Same deal. I tried it out for a little while, did not like it. Out comes the 610. Again, same deal. I think the key is to be cool with the person you talk to at the store. I went to the store once or twice after i bought the phones but ...
