I work for verizon wireless. I made a call to an associate on this 15 day issue. You have 15 days to change your mind on phones. You can try as many phones as you want for the first 15 days. After that, it is your phone! (Unless you buy at full retail.) By the way the end of Q2, or 2nd quarter, is the end of June. The Moto 710 will not be out for AT LEAST 2 weeks.

Are you aware of any instances where they will extend this fifteen day policy?? My problem is, I got the VX7000 thinking the V710 might be out by now, but my 15 days are up on Saturday. 😡

It's a good phone, but lacking some of what the V710 has, but my biggest concern is the damn swivel cam. It is right where I put my index finger to open the phone with one hand and I swivel it one way or another every time I open it. I'll have the damn thing broken in a month!

Hated the swivel thing the first time I saw it. I'm still holding out for the V-710.

Well the samsung a610 swivel cam is pretty durable. Well the phone itself is durable. LG messed up with their swivel cam. Others achieved it pretty well. I happen to like swivel cam but not LG's. I Guess we wait to spend $400 on a new phone that's not swivel cam.02$

There is no way you work for Verizon. I have been here for 7 years now. And you don't know the 15 day policy you need to find another job. It says right on EVERY recept this... Only one exchange within the first 15 days will be honored.

Brian, if I return my VX7000 within my fifteen days and go back to my own V60 temporarily, can I still buy the 710 when it comes out at the promo price?

Yes. I bought the samsung a670 not too long ago and I returned it within the 15 day trial period. I received a full refund and i'm still eligible for the v710. Hope that helps. 🙂

Yep and there are always ways around the 15 day policy for the customer but it requires you to buy at full retail, return for full credit and then buy again as a new transaction.
