As I was saying, what I find particularly weird is how some people have this phone on E-bay for sale, for large amount of money I might add.

From what i understand, those are "tester" phones. Somehow people in "friendly user testing" have been able to sell off their phones. Also, a LARGE number of them are bogus auctions. Some being scam artist and others being (not much better) auctions that promise to send the phone "as soon as its released". Be careful of those if you pursue that route.
