Concrete Proof on the V710
I have been monitoring this web site since back when the v710 was announced. Unfortunately a form such as phonescoop use to be a great place to receive concrete release information. Lately most of the postings have been a complete joke. The true release date for the v710 is mid August. How do I know this. I work for a fortune 500 company that spends neary $30,000 a month with Verizon on service. When we told our Verizon corp. sales rep. we needed bluetooth capability or we would switch to At&t he researched the release date for the v710 and got back to us that he could assure us the phones would be available to us in August. Now everyone can relax and stop posting bullshit about when they think the phone will be released.

If it was an Acount Executive, Business Sales Rep, Account managers they all get the same info which is from somebody that works @ VZW that knows sombody and that person knows somebody etc. That's no concrete info anyway.

And if I'm your Verizon rep, I would surely under commit and over deliver. So, if they do arrive before mid-August, man are you happy. Else, I've got my butt covered until mid-August and you are still satisfied.

That's real funny. My wife works for Motorola and she cannot find out when this phone will be released. She works very high up and quite a few of the top execs want this phone and they cannot get them yet. BTW, Motorola spends about 10X that amount on cell service so if people who make the phone and spend a hell of a lot more than you (or your company) does cannot find out when the release will be, I doubt that your story is valid. So there, NYAAAA! 😛

Dude, your salesperson is slipping.
Most of the salespeople I know would have told you "Sometime in July" without batting an eyelash. Even if they knew for sure it was coming out in August.
And then they'd blame the engineers for it when it wasn't ready. And, depending on the company, send out nasty notes to the engineers demanding that they release the pho...
