Motorola V710
Next Infomanager Update??
My v60 is just about dead and I am trying to hold out to see what the 710 looks like. I know that no one can tell me a release date, but does anyone know the next scheduled update for infomanager? If the 710 is not in there at that time, I will have to go for the 670 or the 7000.

Could have the name wrong.....Verizon's internal system/database that gives updates to their reps on phones. Usually a phone is in there a couple of weeks before it is released.
People on phonescoop seemed to have known when the 7000 was entered, and sure enough it was released a few weeks later.

I work fro VERIZON WIRELESS and I have to correct you on this one. Infomanager DOES show phones as "coming soon" about anywhere from a week to two weeks before they are released out to the stores or direct fulfillment.

No, the V710 is not on there yet. The next update might be sometime next week.

I forgot to put in my first response to this thread that I don't work for Verizon. My information was just what I remembered in previous posts from other Verizon employees.

BrianAtVerizon is correct. The "infomanager is udated as required. When there are no products or important info pending, it may not be updated for a maximum of two weeks.
In addition, phones have been in limited release before listed in the I.M., albeit rare. More commonly, you will see the item in the I.M. 3 to five days before its release.

If memory serves me correctly, Infomanager is supposed to be updated every 2 weeks and the last update was supposed to happen on Monday, 6/28 which means the next one is supposed to be on Monday, 7/12. If the V710 isn't in there by Monday or Tuesday, then I'm thinking it will released in August instead of July.

Just a hunch. Today is 7/9. Tomorrow is 7/10. And we're waiting for the V710..... 😉
