That's just an old Sprint announcement of the phone (from February) before the phone officially became a "to be offered by Verizon Wireless" phone. Notice it says on that page "depending on carrier".

I correct myself. VZW was already the expected carrier of that phone when that article was posted (reading the posts there shows that).
