There is one listing for the V710 on ebay right now.
its not an auction its a straight purchase listing. you have to send the lister a request to be approved to buy. for ****s and Giggles I submitted my request and here is the reply I got.

do you think buyers will wonder why the ESN numbers come up stolen when the try to activate them?

I think buyers should wonder how the phone could be compatible with any network.

😢

There is no problem with shipping, taxes, duties, wrong ESN's or any other issues for the "seller".

This creep has no phones and no intention of sending you anything. It's a scam that he as been running for a month or two jumping from one hacked account to another. You send the money Western Union and that's the end of the story.

You'd be surprised how many people fall for this.

I think the guy is selling the phone from overseas.

1.) over there the phone has probably been out for forever since Europe and other places are a little more ahead in phone technology than the US.

2.) when you buy a phone over there, they are all unlocked, meaning if its GSM, you can take it to At&t, T-Mobile, Cingular, etc. and it will work on all of them.

3.) due to his horrible grammar, that would also support the overseas stuff.

just an idea.

He has no phones at all!! If you check his history and other sales (he has exactly 30 phones of each type), requirement for Western Union, and private bidding (which he won't allow!!!! - illegal!!!) it is obvious he has nothing at all except a big set of b@lls. Get over it. He has nothing!

I dont' believe this ebay guy at all but I also don't know what the hell GIVMEABREAK is talking about.

The ebay seller only has 3 responses in his feedback one is for a remote car keychain and the other is for a Super Nintendo.
There is no mention of 30 phones anywhere.

Here is the Item #5709472676.

Do a little research before you rant and rave.

As I understand it, this guy hijacks other people's accounts. You're probably looking at the auctions for the legitimate ebay account holder. There have been numerous threads on this (and other) forums about this guy and how he takes on the identity of a legitimate, unsuspecting ebayer for a short time in order to pull of his sca...
