Although I never posted that I doubted the fact that you said you had seen these banner, I did have my doubts.
I think it's natural to doubt everything that's said on these forums, but I want to apologize just for the hell of it, thanks for the pictures! Great job.

Once again I was told "any day now." They told me that the phones were supposed to come in with the banner, but they didn't. He said they have the accessories, but may have just been referring to the bluetooth headset which they do have in stock.

oh ok... well friday mornign ill post in the mornign time when i get back from verizon whether i have a lg 7k in my hands or the thursday evening shipment they got also had some 710s (which means ill be having that).... and if i do trust me im not posting a response til i take pictures of it first and upload so i dont sound like some other liars on this forum.... lata

I wish I could offer an opinion, but I just don't know. I hope it's soon because I have spent way too much of my time on these forums lately. Just looking at all of the information that is out there it could be any day now. If I were betting I would say not until after this week though (so no, not before the 18th). I don't work for Verizon or Motorola though.

Anyway I have a theory...if that guy bonoriffic or whatever is right...it may explain the reason for the delay with the phones and the banner thing...they needed to be reflashed...this guy is apparently pretty reliable and has been around for a while...anyway...he says approval should be Monday or Friday...if approval is on one of those days...my money is gonna be on the 18th-24th...more specifically the 20th going with the Tuesday thing...get your wallets out!!!

Absolutely. You can get it with whatever area code you want. My parent's live in 310, and I'm on the same family plan but have a 949 number (behind the orange curtain).

I tried that about a year ago with Verizon and it didn't work. Tried to help my parents update their family share plan with new phones. The local store in SD could not give them a 626 area code. Either that or it was too much work/effort to do it.

Based on bonoriffic's WirelessAdvisor.com post, I'm leaning towards July 27th but maybe as early as the 20th. I'm assuming that Verizon needs a few days to test the software change that Motorola provided. If it's not out by July 27th, then I would say the latest would be August 10th. I know is all speculation on my part but I think I'm making myself feel more confident by typing it on here 🙂

There are no artifacts in any of the images. It is 100% real. someone screwed up.

My guess of what happened is that the better is used on both the inside and the outside of the building. The bluetooth logo, because it is big and dark is on both sides of the banner (without being mirrored). So on the stores side it's correct, but on the outside it's backwards. No biggie.
The text, is likely opposite on the inside, because it is smaller, and wont bleed through as much.

A bit of trivia... The logo looks a bit like a "B", but was in fact designed from the combination of the runic characters "H" -- For the first name of Bluetooth (Harald). The fact that it looks like a "B" wasn't lost on the logo designers... They thought it would be an easier explaination, but wasn't in fact, the real origins of the logo.
