Motorola V710
Sprint Version?
Guys, i was searching through google on the 710, and there is a sprint version too, but instead of the mid black section of the front of the phone, its baige. Even though sprint is horrible, how come on the information page of the 710 is doesnt say sprint pcs for carrier also? Does anybody have info on this?

It looks like a different model number (A840 maybe...?). So it's not the "same" phone... and sprint sucks!!! 😁

This is not a Sprint phone. This is somebody's personal Sprint PCS fanboi page. This "article" is about the FCC approval of the device, and has nothing to do with the existence of a Sprint version the picture looks like a doctored version of this:

That beige color is just a photo of the phone that moto sent to the FCC for approval or pictures of it. Probably a pre-production phone. My two cents.

THE PHONE WAS APPROVED IN FEBRUARY AND THEY ARE STILL IN THE PROCESS OF GETTING IT TO WORK?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! TTM IS THIS LONG?! I SHOULD START A CELL PHONE COMPANY THAT ACTUALLY KNOWS WHAT ITS DOING AND HAVE CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINED IN SOMETHING LIKE RELEASE DATES!! WTH

The FCC only approves the devices that send/receive radio waves or communicate with devices outside of the phone itself, it has absolutely nothing to do with the functionality of the phone in any way.
Phone manufacturers send nonfunctional models to the FCC for approval before they invest any serious dollars into developing the in-depth functions on the phone, which is what takes the most time.
