Gee...why do all the stores give different dates?
Um... maybe because none of them KNOW when the phone is coming out. This 2-3 weeks on hand, 1-2 days on hand, all of this is garbage. The 7000 was in the store not 5 days before the release. All of this supposed "concrete info" that some random sales guy or store told you is completely unreliable. Can we please stick to posts from sources other than VZW Sales & VZW CST SERV. I can assure you neither has any inside info 99% of the time. You can call 15 stores and get 15 answers, you don't believe me, give it a shot with 5 of them. They are going to probably tell you farther out just to prevent more calls in.

um...I can't remember exactly how long the vx7000 was in the store before it's release, but it was something like 5 days. and we had a demo model in about a week before we recieved our first 10. And what makes you think that people outside of VZW would have anymore info than people who work for the company?? That's just stupid. Maybe we don't all have inside information but most of us on here don't. furthermore, you may get 15 different answers from 15 different stores, but people like myself ( I have now worked for 4 of the major wireless providers) are more than just wireless sales reps. Jcrow... of course I work for verizon. My previous post about not calling customer service is a direct result of that. I was a supervisor in customer care for roughly 2 years in our headquarters before transferring to a training position. What my main opposition was towards is the people saying "I called my local store and they said..." because it's useless information and cannot be counted on. There are people, yourself probably included, who may have ties to people in marketing, or motorola's realease dept that would have viable information.
