You know I find it funny that I have read nothing but good things about the use of Blue Tooth with this phone, and now all the sudden there is a big enough problem that they are canceling the release - I doubt it

I find that hard to believe (surprise). The v810 is built on the same platform as the 710, so does that mean they'll release that one or is that one scrapped as well?

I dont know anything re GLOBALONE ( w all his caps) or 700 units in a warehouse etc BUT, VZW has not 100% confirmed it will release this phone and its possible that it will not b released by VZW as stated by many on hofo incl VZW EMPLOYEE and that whole issue about an indefinite hold. It aint a done deal. Its either coming out aug/sept or its not ever coming out altho moto who has invested so much could release it thru others like altell I suppose.

First of all i did not say we have 700 phone in a warehouse,i did say we have 700 open commercial phone numbers,giving us a direct inside line into moto, and verizon.

also, if it was cancelled, Moto would not be able to roll out all of the bluetooth accessories for the phone. I would think that would have hit the newspapers if they invested all this money into a CDMA bluetooth phone and decided to cancell it.

For starters, What makes you think that if it was NOT going to roll, and an OFFICIAL decision had been made not to roll, that motorola would continue to even have it APPEAR on it's website? I work for Nordstrom and today was the first day of our anniversary sale and of course, with moms nearly killing each over to get the last over priced sweater or jacket, we had lost kids everywhere, but the worst was this little 6 year old boy whose mother lost him. She didn't speak any English and neither did her son. We had the store on lockdown until the little boy was found wandering around one of our stock rooms throwing things around, screaming weeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
