I called my local VZW store (Chicago suburbs) the other day and the guy said they were suppose to have it by Wednesday, but now it's been pushed back until July 29th. I'm betting this won't happen either, but that's from a Verizon Sales guy.

Oh well, I don't have a yearly contract on my phone, so I won't mind waiting. I'd rather it be a few months late but work flawlessly then it come out too soon and be a dud. I think it'll be worth the wait when it does come out.

If there were a GSM version of this phone out now, I'd go with that (love the SIM card idea).

Moto v600 at ATT and Cingular. The main difference is that there's no video recording, lesser camera and no transflash card. Other than that it's a pretty darn good bluetooth phone. (although ATT has a data plan rather than let you use dial-up to connect to PDA/laptop)

Yeah, but moc, i still think the v710 is worth the wait, since the v600 didnt get as good of ratings as i expected it to (CNET review.) And the v710 is a better phone overall.

(My opinion, but it's totally up to you. 😁 )

Yeah, I considered the V600 vs V710 for a few weeks, but I like the extras with the V710 (picture ID, video, expandable card slot, etc.) plus VZW is suppose to have great coverage and support. Of course, I have Sprint now and they are suppose to have lousy service yet it's ...
