I know you keep saying you need a phone by July 18th ... ow that it's clear the V710 won't be ready by then ... what phone are you getting???

I don't know...I might just get the v710 when it's released down in San Diego which is where I'm going...
or another alternative is just to buy like a pay as you go POS phone then just return it or get the V710 when I get back...
I had the slider which I hated...but I still might ket something even cheaper to pass the time until the V710 comes out 😕

Not exactly. I don't have a deadline. My current phone isn't working particularly well, but I think I can hold out until the V710 is released (whenever that may be). I really need a tri-mode phone ... and there's really no other phone that interests me right now.

Wanted to chime in here. Also asked a local verizon wirelss authorized dealer about when the V710 will be out. She told me it is still in testing, but probably September. I did look on ebay and saw one for sale there. Second, is there such a thing a a GSM to CDMA adapter. I want a CDMA bluetooth enabled phone. Thanks

uh...not that I know of...and I can gurantee you 99% that the phone will be out before September...about the adapter...not that I know of and if you want a CDMA enabled Bluetooth phone, wait for and get the V710...
