Stopped by my local phone store who is an authorized dealer for Verizon and he says it will be released Monday! He was quite sure of this so we will see but I am now holding my breath (and turning blue). 😁

Ya know...he could be referring to the Treo 600 or whatever that ugly thing is...Because I've read from other forums...and this one that the Treo is supposed to be commercially launched the 19th of July...so...he could mean that...but if it's the V710 then great and I hope he's right...Also..he could be pulling your leg as is done by many many many VZW people and other retail people...all we can do is wait...unfortunately

That would be nice. I was in my local Verizon dealer earlier today and first found out about this phone then but the sales girl said they have no idea when it might be coming out.

the phone is NOT coming out on the 19th... i think i mighta stated this b4 but when i went to put my 7000s on reserve weds so i could pick them up thursday i personally spoke to the lady from inventory about it and she said they were supposed to receive them at the end of June and didnt and she said she hasnt heard anything about them since... i dont think the 99999 trick on the website is gunna be the same as it was for the release of the 7000... i personally think that the phone is just gunna pop up out of nowhere with no prior notice of 2 or 3 weeks.... but thats just my opinion
