When you go to the VZW site and search for the V710, you get five results, each saying "Phones", when I click on the link, I see VZW phones, but no V710. What could this mean?

Means nothing. This is not new. It's been like this for several weeks at least.

Who cares if it's been like that for several weeks? Well, it obviously means something.

If you seach for anything else, V810, V600, VISNEVERCOMINGOUT, you get no results. But something for the V710 must be loaded into the HTML script on the phones page to make it show up with those results.

It means they have the phrase "V710" in the metatags of their phone page. So that when people do an internet search of V710 the VZW page will show up. That's all.

It doesn't speak in any way to the timing of when the phone may actually appear on their website or when it will be for sale.

Thanks for the info. I noticed, if you search for any other current VZW model, e.g.,V60p, they come up with 5 "Phones" results. So it's like the V710 is an actual phone.

I think it's a good sign that VZW does intend to sell the phone. And hopefully one day VERY SOON we'll actually see the phone on their site when we click on those links!!

Just maybe you're right. Just maybe. When I emailed Motorola, they said that carriers may release the phone after testing and so on. So there would be a delay from when Motorola officialy releases the phone, and when Verizon sells it. How long is that delay typically, based on previously released models?
