Does anyone have an idea what this bad boy is going to cost?

I am jonesing to get one, but I hesitate because it is a new generation and they may not have the bugs worked out.

everyone is estimating different prices...nobody really knows.

the avg projection on this board seems to be between 299-399....depending on 1 or 2 year contracts.

id personally say it will be around 350 with a $50 mail in rebate.

its just like the release dates at this point, all speculation.

hope that helps

I would hope for everyone's sake that the phone is not shipping until next Tuesday, when S/W Version 8700_01.30.8F is released.

I am in Libertyville today, obtaining ver 8D, up from the 8C I have now, and hopefully that will cure these bugs I have been posting on my testing site.

The sad news is what these S/W updates have been doing to BT capabilities... I will have more on that on my site tonight.

For the "small village" sized group of you that have been emailing about MP3s and storage, I will have my TransFlash card with adaptor tomorrow. I will make an additional page for that and email all of you with the results. I will also start posting actual photos and videos taken from the phone as well.

Thanks for your time.
