SAR ratings?
Does anyone know what the SAR ratings will be? I keep receiving "corrupted file" messages when I try to open the FCC docs, and the Motorola site doesn't have the info, nor do any of the web sites I've searched. Thanks.

thanks for checking, Sam....I can get into the list fine, from your link or the site itself, but I get the same "file is damaged" message on the report itself.....could you tell me what the SAR ratings are?

Ok it says that the test was done with a 835mAH battery (model SNN5695A).
I think I found what you're looking for on page 8 (out of 111) of that SAR Report document. They have these tables of test results (one for each of 4 positions of the phone on the head), with rows for Analog and both Digital frequencies for multiple channels, with colums for measured and extrapolated results for both the antenna extended and retracted. They don't have a summary result like they show on Verizon's web site for each phone. Rather than write all these values, I'm going to give you the ranges for the positions where the phone is touching the head.
Left Head (Cheek / Touch Position)
.474 to 1.34
Right Head (Cheek / Touch Position)
.592 to 1.37

Thanks, this helps a ton....gives me an idea of where it fits in the range. I appreciate your help.

may be a stupid question, but what is SAR?
...
SAR is Specific Absorbtion Rate, I believe...FCC guidelines require all phones to have a limit below 1.6; some phones are quite a bit lower than others...general safety rating, seems to be a lot of dispute over how important it is (but it's important to my wife).
