Just so you know, I spoke with my assistant director in the customer service department and he was kind enough to give me an inside scoop about the v710. Mr. Beltran informed me that he was just in a pre launch meeting for the V710 and it was mentioned that it will officialy be released on August 1st.
Get ready for the registration cause its coming out!!!!!

Its nice to hear that you believe me, now that all these kids here post nonsense. I know the 1st falls on a Sunday, but from what I was told, that does not matter. I will certainly get more info tomorrow and will post it on this forum.

First off, Aug. 14th isn't much better, it's a Saturday. Think you've been waiting for this phone a while? I started coming to this forum in January, found the v710 in late March, and became obsessed with it by April. 5 and 1/2 months is a long time to sit and wait for a phone. Especailly with (almost) 100 pages in Full Thread view.

Apparently RadioShack's sales flyer has the 710listed. That flyer goes into affect Aug1st. So in my experiance RS does not like to run ads for products they don't have. So the phone should be launched early in the month. Gratned i have not seen the new ads but i will bring one home with me tonight and scan it.

I also read that, but read that Radio Shack still doesnt have the LG VX7000 yet. But of course, I am not sure if they advertised the LG like they have the V710.

THis should be the RadioShack Flyer for next month. I stopped by my store and we did not get them in yet (probably later this after noon or tomarrow).
RS never advirtised the 7000 to my knowledge. So seeing an ad for the 710 is very encouraging for an early August Release. Like i said before they don't like to advirtise what they don't carry.

As of right now i do not believe so, but i will be getting my shipment of phones in today or tomarrow (depending on when UPS decides to drop them off) I know we have acessories for the 7000 but i have not heard of any stores getting it. We shall see!

I just checked the pre-flyer memos and it has NO mention of the v710. Thought these memos did come out 7-16-2004 so there is a good chance that it was a later addition with the 710. UPS decide to not come today (bastards) so we didn't get our order in, no merchandise, no new flyers. So hopefully tomarrow i can report back of a scan of the flyer.
