V710 Phonebook

Does anyone know if the V710 allows you to store up to 5 tel numbers per person like the LG VX6000? I heard the V600 phonebook was crap because it didn't allow you to list several numbers under one name.

That's a misconception about the v600. I had 4 numbers for my brother under one name, and with an option tweak it displayed icons for each number at once. For some odd reason they had it default in a way that made it look like you could not show multiple numbers under one entry and the option setting wasn't the easiest to find (although I stumbled upon it quickly...others had a hard time finding it)

It has been posted before that the v710 phonebook does allow for the storing of multiple numbers under 1 name.

... And if you read the instruction manual (posted on line yesterday), you will see how it's done...

Here's the post about the v710 manual (I want to give credit where credit is due, so I don't link directly to the web site itself):

Yes..I read the somewhat generic draft manual on the website, but it wasn't clearly stated how it displays the list of numbers under one name like:

I'm thinking about using the V710 bluetooth capabilities of the phone with BMW's bluetooth car kit. I want to make sure that when the phone loads the phonebook into the car's computer, I'll be able to know if the number for the person I'm dialing is a cell, home, fax, etc. I heard that when the V600 loaded its phonebook into the car's computer, you could tell what you were dialing. My old Timeport gives my car's computer that information.

I am curious if the V600 can load it's address book in to the car's computer, why can I sync with my power book via Bluetooth. I read that the v710 blue profile is missing that would allow to communicate data objects with any other Bluetooth device

Any ideas
