Motorola V710
Just rec'd promo pack
I don't know if anyone posted this. I don't post often, and I didn't read back. I just don't have time, but I thought I'd let everyone know that if you work at a VZW store or authorized retailer, there is a promo pack that I just received today for the V710
It contains a bunch of full color glossy brochures, some small handouts, and a dummy phone of the V710. Props to Motorola for sending those out to me, because I usually have to buy my dummy phones. The box is a full color box with "Ubermoto" written on the side.
Good stuff. Should be seeing them in August (as you all already know)

Are those brochures distributed to customers interested in the phone, or are they distributed among Verizon sales reps that need concise information on the features of the phone.
Also, when are you guys scheduled to display the dummy phone?

I believe the info is for customers. There are some small, business-card sized handouts that are definately for customers.
We will probably begin displaying the phone as soon as I get a difinitive date for release from our main warehouse. At that point in time, I will probably display it and take pre-orders. If anybody wants to see it, I'll be more than happy to show them. But there's no point of displaying it till I can be sure I can actually get it.
