some reps say friday/saturday.... some say no clue.... anything written in stone yet??

I asked my local verizon store about it (in connecticut) and they didnt even know what the phone was. I asked "you didnt recieve information about this phone or a dummy phone recently" and the lady said no...

Same thing here in Portland, Oregon at a Verizon store. Neither the rep nor the store manager knew that a bluetooth phone was coming.

Exactly. Same over in my region.
I gathered, from speaking to my VZW sales rep (who is a nice guy, really), that they are sick of the inquiries - they don't have the answers, nor do the store reps at this point in time.
And further this points to these people (idiots, presumably) who are posting false release dates and testing information.
Honestly, one wonders why people behave the way they do.

At the Lloyd Center store in Portland, I spoke to a rep and she knew the phone was comin but didn't know the model number or have any information on it. Currently us at RadioShack know more than our reps and the Verizon company stores. The fact that the catalog number went active today, and that the transflash and the bluetooth headsets are active it is definitely good news for a soon release. However it means as much as the fact that the VX7000 case has been active since a month before its actual release.

I checked with one of the managers at the Corp Office and they were told the phones are at the DC just like Radioshack. So they are probably going to be shipping to the stores this week and next. I just hope that Motorola has sent enough to cover the very large request.
