For those that are paying full price, here's a site selling it for $449
While browsing the message list in the V710 forum I saw an ad for the V710 so I clicked on it. Here's the page that it took me to.

They have it for $449 with no contract and free shipping. My guess is that they won't charge you sales tax unless you're located in one of the states where they have a distribution center which according to their "About us" page is Pennsylvania, Ohio, Maryland, Nevada, Iowa, Indiana, and California but who knows maybe they won't charge sales tax in any state.

When you add one to your shopping cart, it shows as $519, not $449 like on the product's page. Maybe the RS ads made them change their mind?

maybe it was the shipping, cause it said even though it shows shipping they don't count it on your credit card or somethin

When I added it to the shopping cart, it came up as $449.95 plus $12.00 shipping even though shipping was supposed to be free on pre-orders. Maybe you accidentally added the HS810 Bluetooth headset to your order. When I did that, the price came up as $519.90 (since the headset is $69.95) plus $12.00 shipping.

Yes Sam, I was the first to post that news, last week. Nobody really noticed. I was also first to bring up the String Theory movie, but that post was pretty much ignored too. It seems you have to either be a "regular", a liar, or a total nit-wit to have anybody respond to your posts here at PhoneScoop. Good luck with your posts, my friend....

I wasn't making snide remarks towards him. Just pointing out that I was the first to post that info, just like everybody else here does. That is my right and privilege, as per PhoneScoop custom. Take a look at the 50 thousand other posters who say "I posted first!" I don't see you trying to lecture them.
And I wasnt dumping on him; he may not have noticed the post. But many other people here have had the chance. I was just making commentary that many of my important posts are somehow "overlooked". And I notice that one of your posts contains a "snide remark"..
