We can not sell the phone at the activated price when using DIRECT2U. But you could use Direct2U to buy the phone outright. Then bring it back to the store, return it, and re-buy it at the activated price

I called them today and they said the new phones usually arrive at the beginning of the month, and call back then.

well since you would have the phone you ordered that would be "our stock". you would return it, then it would become in stock (for the moment). Then we could re-ring it as activated since by that time the Sale would of started and the rebate sku would be added.
