My question is if you can accually see the picture (and in good color) on the outside display, especially during the day. I know ecko04 (where has he been?) had problems with that.

i have some real concerns with the external lcd being able to show a picture as the caller id. the info page says the phone is capable of picture id but doesnt specifically mean so for the external display could just be the internal. the v300's info page also says the phone is capable of picture id but the v300's external display cannot display images on the external. another point of concern i have is the low resolution the external diplay has its same resolution as the v300
any thoughts on this?

I do know for sure the V710 has the capability for external screen picture ID but the screensaver for that outside display cannot be changed, other than the color.

and that color of the external display can bet set to change to indicate groups (i.e. family = blue, work = red, etc.) along with a picture... and this too has already been discussed on this form numerous times. The SOS over and over. That's why I try to have a little fun here and also why I try to "wake up" some of the dill weeds who cruse in here looking for easy answers when all they have to do is go to the manufactures site or just click on the info tab above, 99% of their answers are there!
