Got an order #.. tracking???
first...I tried the RS way today, i spoke to 5 different people some in the store and some at 800 the shack, i was told by 3 out 5 people that the $80 for the overnight will be refunded.. when i called at the end of the day to get my tracking number, the rep told me that even though i placed the order there is no tracking # because the order will not be filled, according to her mgr phones cannot be ordered outside of the store.. i guess I'll find out Tuesday!!

I don't know about this. The system let them order it for me. You would think it would prevent any phone SKU's from being accepted in the Direct2U order system. Also, they already charged my card. They better damn well send something 🙂

Now that I think about this again, I think that rep is confused -- you can't order *any* VZW phone from RS from their web site or by phone through their 800 number (and never have been able to) -- but it appears that stores can ship any phone out if they are out of stock...which in the case of the V710 they all are. (I looked up other phones for various ATL zip codes and the "order in-store for delivery" message appeared for other phones.)
