good job to verizon for taking so long to release the damn v710 ... now that everyone has a glimpse of the v3 ...im sure a fair amount of people are having doubts as i see from everyones comments here and on hofo ... just want to wait to see what the coverage is like when cingular finishes merging with att .... which by the way ... does anyone know when?

Remember, the V3 is a GSM only phone. Personally, I'd rather wait on a good phone, than have countless crappy ones released.

Uhhhh.... right.

There are phones that have the sort of features that I want from the V710 *right* *now* on the GSM network. Has been for a year or so. But I'm quite content with the coverage area I've got with Verizon and don't want to give that up.

So the V3 is no more appealing than the V600, for me.

I agree, my experience with Verizon has been good and is more important at times than the phone. I must admit, I do get jealous when my friends have these really cool phones and I still have my T720. But I find myself always lending my phone to them for their use, since their networks seem to let them down. So in short, I am happy to be getting the V710 and the great Verizon Coverage and I appreciate VZW putting the phones through rigorous testing. I do agree, however, they need to start introducing more phones that compete with what the market has to offer. The ATT/Cingular merger may give them some real competition, but I am sticking with VZW for now.
