don't go around saying things like that when the facts are right in front of you. the phone is available to purchase from radioshack, they will ship it direc2u from their warehouse. you are correct they are not in stores, but they are in the warehouse.

You guys are so funny...There is no way in hell that anyone has it from radio shack...What makes you think that RS will get it before any Verizon retail store?...RS just got the vx7000 and they ALWAYS get phones a few weeks after VZW. So if you ordered it I bet you it will not come until it is released. If you do somehow get it I want you to post a picture with the phone in your hand.

Direct2U will not let a transaction go through if the product is not available in the warehouse.
Also, our vzw rep has been saying that it's exciting that we're getting a phone before the direct stores.

I just got off the phone with a friend who owns a radio shack store by me. He said that they only get shipments of phones on wed. and tha the phone should be here soon mabe tom mabe not. It will be here soon its just a matter of time and patients.

The receipt from RS is in my hand. It will be home delivered in my hand on tuesday. That is the truth. VZW stores do not have it availible yet, so the reports that RS got it first is true. i don't know what else to say

The web site shows the 1 store in that area code as green and call for avaiability. I just did out of couriousity and they do not have it. Maybe the green was not green enough.

yo, i went to vzw to turn back in my 7000 and i went to the RS which is like 3 stores away from it and there was a different guy in there then when i went there a couple days ago and he said its supposed to be in the store 2morrow for sale but he hasnt heard ne thing.... is it supposed to be in ur store by tomorrow?????

Does the phone cost $500 without buying a plan? I already have a plan and have upgraded my phone already but want that phone. However, i thought it was going to cost around $250-300 and not $500. Let me know something.

1 year 279.99 after 70 MIR (basically 30 bucks more on 1 year. VZW charges 50 i believe)

VZW/Radioshack gives you a 200 credit when you buy the phone. 319. That # is still hard to swallow so they give you a MIR. Add 30 bucks for a 1 year contract.

That is what i payed (520). $520, and then when i get it they return it and resell it to me as store stock to make it $320 + MIR = $249!

As a RS store manager in CT. most stores will recieve 2 on thursday in this area. But only the top 2500 VZW selling stores will get it. We got the motorola bluetooth headsets today in our regular orders. I held one today at a meeting with the Divisional VP and it is sharp and smaller than I expected.

I am sure once Verizon gets wind of the situation that the phone is being sold at Radioshack and its going to be available this weekend they are going to try and push to get the phone out to their asap. The longer they wait, the less opportunity for revenue.

One of my first jobs was in a warehouse (over 22 years ago) and my latest job is in computers (designing systems, DBs and writing programs) and if you trust computers (i.e. the people that enter the data and run them) then you are naive.

The only reason that a person would get the v710 from RS BEFORE Verizon is because Verizon is holding them back. RS gets the phones directly from Verizon (warehouse), not Motorola (this I DO know). So if you look at it in that perspective, then Verizon did get the phones before RS.

Also, RS (the retail store) will NOT have them in stock and on the shelves before Verizon (the retail store) will.

RadioShack does not buy phones from VZW. That much I do know also. Do you want to come to my district meetings?

while i agree the shipping price is extreme people have and are willing to pay.

I never said I ordered the phone, I only said I would have it before you is because my store will get it in before the VZW store of your choice does. I do agree that paying extra for shipping is stupid. Actually the fact of me having the phone will help me sell even more of them which in turn makes me more money. I could care less to show off my phone to anyone unless they are a customer.

I dont think anyone listened to me but I know for a fact my RS is getting them thursday and a quantity of 2.

I already got a few lined up for it. Customers said that they asked the local VZW stores and the assoc had no idea about them? And what is wrong with us getting the phone a week before the VZW stores since it is usually the opposite. We dont have the 7000 or the 4500 or 4600 so its about time we get a phone when it comes out and not a month later
