Infomanager?

Can someone from Verizon check the infomanager? Is there any change that might give us additional clues as to a day in August?

I assume that since no one posted anything, it is still not listed; but I had to ask.
Thanks

As of late all of our VZW sources (brianatverizon, VZWSales, etc...) have fallen silent. Maybe big brother nabbed them.

Again I will tell you that the Verizon Headquarters office in Irvine, CA (West Region HQ) has said the phone will be in stores on August 11.

I hope so. I have been working the phones this morning. I called one store and they told me it was delayed in testing, another hinted at that and said the phones are not available. When I confronted them with the fact that Radio Shack is their distributor and selling them for VZW,they didn't know what to say and gave me Customer Service Number to call. I called and the lady was a bit more informed, but wasn't forthcoming at first. But when I demonstrated more knowledge, and asked why is RS allowed to sell them before VZW if not approved, that's when she was honest with me and told me that all testing was complete and that the managers were telling me all the information. Because RS deals with Motorola directly they are able to get the phone...

My information came from the Executive Offices and I was asked not to give the name of the person who told me but he is the assistant to the President of the West Area. I spent about a half hour on the phone with him discussing the problem of people not reading their own press releases and when we finished that conversation he got me the release date. The phone should be in stores on the 10th with a launch date of the 11th. Why a Wednesday? He had no answer other then they wanted to make sure they had enough on hand to handle the expected run on the phone. Lets hope it is on time, if not sooner.

The phones are not going through any testing for Verizon. As you read a while back, the phone passed Phase 4(user friendly testing) Also the President of the Company(verizon) announced in a meeting that the phone was approved. The last update is the phones were on their way to the DC last week. Maybe Radioshack has an agreement with Motorola to get the first opportunity to sell the product
