I would say that all the RS orders will be delayed until next week which will coincide with VZW official release of August 3rd.

I'll second that, verizon may very well have put the strong arm on Moto, in turn putting it on RS, because we have all been talking about it on here. I believe you will see many more cancelled orders and a sudden hold up on sales at RS even if they get them in...look for a corprate email to stores..Verizon just puts out this financial statement, yada yada yada, they probably won't stand to be upstaged by RS..My hunch anyway..like it was said..talk amongst yourselves..

Hmmmmmmmmmnnnnnnnnn....I think the Verizon conspiracy theory is at work here. Look for Radio Shack to continue being second fiddle. They will be waiting to release the V710 when Verizon says so.

The manager at the RS I talked to said that they were contractully obligated to sell the phone over the counter. This was actually confirmed by someone who said the same thing yesterday. If Verizon is at work here, it's concerning how they sell them, not when.

THink about Radio Shacks position. This phone which is sure to be a top seller comes out in august according to the press release. Radio shack puts out a flyer once a month. It woudl be crazy for radio shack NOT to put the phone in that flyer for Aug. THeir other options would be to either delay the flyer until the phone is released or put the flyer out at the beginning of hte month in hopes that the phone would be avail BEFORE getting too beat up by customers. Out of curiosity, has anyone seen the Actual flyer, not some jpg of it? I can't read the fine print at the bottom of it.
