ARRRRRRRRRRRGHHHH!!!!! Radio Shack!!!!!!

I just got an email cancelling my order stating that it wasn't in stock. I had it for overnight shipping and was suppose to get it tomorrow.

They cancelled it and are giving me a refund. Never again Radio Crap!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wouls have too but I just couldn't justify blowing my NE2 credit I have available. Why pay $250 when I can buy it next week for $150. That's a lot of booze I can buy. Or 7 lap dances

Just wondering, since we don't take people email addresses when a DIRECT2U order is taken, how did they know your email?

What I don't understand is when I bought it the guy at the store checked the warehouse and they said in stock. Now this message that says not in stock and cancellation of my order.

I mean WTF are they doing??? Sorry but Im just really upset about this crap!

You do not know what your talking about.
While I was at the radioshack the sales reb was on the phone with the Dallas Fort Woth Warehouse and the Toledo Warehouse and both had them in stock and said they were available for sale. Then I said ok order one for me standard shipping. I will have it thursday by 12:00.

I was going to ask the same thing. There isn't even a place to put in an email address. I ordered my phone yesterday and I checked back with them right before they closed and the information given to me is that all the items I ordered were pulled for shipment and were to be shipped. She said that they didn't have a tracking number yet but should be in the system tomorrow.

I figure one of two things:

1. Radio Shack never received a shipment of V710s - someone made a mistake. Either a pallet of something else was mis-logged as V710s (yikes) or someone mis-entered something that never really showed up.

2. Per other people's suggestions, Verizon may have nixed RS from selling these things before VZW stores are able to do so.

Verizon should not care if RadioShack sells the phone before their direct stores. They don't make thair money off of phones anyway, they make their money off of the service, and they get that money no matter where the phone is purchased.

The phones are in the warehouse and are shipping to stores. Some orders were cancelled only because their were issues with allocation for orders and allocation for stores. I did see earlier that an employee said he had received his already, and another had claimed that they had received a credit for overnight shipping since there was a delay in the shipping of the phone. Take it how you will, but customers whether ordered or bought from store stock will have them by the end of the week and thats the bottom line, 'cause the icon said so.

I called several times today to check on my order. I placed the order Monday morning at 10:26 am and requested the $80.00 overnight shipping. As of this afternoon around 4pm or so, my phone had been allocated, packed, and shipped, and the lady said I should have a tracking number tomorrow, but I should be getting the phone then anyways.

I will be extremely upset if its true that orders are being cancelled (especially mine), and I will completely skip the v710 if that's the case and switch providers and get the v600 and wait for the v3 when that comes out later this year.
