Come on guys, when have you ever seen RS get a phone before Verizon does? The vx7000 was the most anticipated phone in years and RS just got it. Now the v710 is the most anticipated. But those orders on RS were a mistake just like the vx7000 was on the VZW website weeks before it was available when entering 99999 as the zip code. There is no way in hell RS will have this phone sooner or at the same time. It is in the RS contract with VZW. ok badass how do you know what rs and vzw's contract states i am telling from a radioshack store my regional manager has it already and my rep has told me herself we will have the phones either on or before aug. 3rd so when my store gets the phone on or before aug. 3rd i will post the phone number and address so you can bring your sorry ass in here and buy it!

I can not believe the competition around this forum between VZW and RS.
I don't think it's a race to see who gets it 1st. We all want this phone so bad we are challenging our companies contracts that we really don't know what the true contract agreement between VZW and RS.
If RS gets the phone 1st VZW is still making $$ from the contracts of customer's that RS brings them and prevents the customer from purching a phone from another carrier.
Motorola is bringing a phone that WE want on the VZW service that will benefit both.
