Radioshack first to get v710

My manager was at a manager's meeting yesterday and while Verizon is set to offer the phone on the 11th, Radioshack will have a week to a week and a half to sell the phone before verizon stores get it. This is a deal that was worked out with radioshack as they are verizon's #1 distributor. My manager thinks that our store will have the phone within the next few days or with our next inventory shipment as he put it. I check the shipping records and we are set to receive our next shipment tommorow( July 29th) and our next shipment after that on Monday(August 1st). So I would imagine that it will be in one of those packages and you should all check with your local radioshack for availability as it is currently available in select stores.

radioshack does not honor new every 2, but they have a better deal. At 22 months, you get the phone as an upgrade for whatever price it is currently on sale for. 95% of the time, this price is better than the $100 off you get with Verizon's new every two because that $100 comes off the regular price of the phone which for the v710 is estimated at about $450-$500. So the phone will be around 350 with new every two, or 250 with a Radioshack upgrade. You do the math.

Sorry slick, but your math is wrong. After NE2 phone is $150. It's $100 off the promo price.

Yup Verizon NE2 is $100 off the promo price. My v710 will be $320 with a re-up for 2 years. They will then take $100 off of $320 as my NE2 to make $20. Additionally I get the $70 rebate which takes the phone down to $150.

RS doesn't match this kind of offer. Im waiting until August 11th.
