Ok so if 2500 RS stores get two each then...
...when do you think they'd get more. My opinion is not until Verizon Stores get bloated with them in inventory. RS may not see more until after August is over.
I think Verizon is using the trickle out theory. Basically, using RS to tease the public by releasing a few phones. By the time VZW gets them a week later people will be bumrushing the stores to get their hands on them.
Possibly to sort out a few final nitpicky bugs too.

Verizon has a big contract with radioshack and is giving them first dibs as a reward for great distribution of their service. Yes it also helps early advertising, but it helps radioshack with sales of other products and phones as well.

i spoke to the reps today at verizon... the reason RS gets to sell the phone first in their opinion was b/c of packaging... they said some of the phones RS received may not have been "badged" with "all of the verizon logos" and the "packaging from radio shack and us is different".... makes little sense to me but w/e, as long as radioshack has it 2morrow when i get there i dont care
