just talked with rs/they got the phone first because of other ties with motorola products/ price 319./ 70 mail-in rebate/ with 2 yr agreement/ 350 with rebate for 1 yr.Just wanted to add so facts hope they help,

Everyone's going to give you a different story to rationalize this availability. I was told this morning by a RS clerk that they worked out a deal with VZW to have them first because they sold more than 50% of VZW's phones last year. May be true, but I find that kind of hard to believe. In any event, I was told that the phone would not be available through VZW until LATE NOVEMBER. Yeah. Um, okay.
