I asked RS about this - they said they can't offer any less than the 2yr contract price, and the rebate. (so you're looking at about $250 w/ a 2yr contract after rebate)
Verizon will also offer this price - but you and I will only have to pay $150 after our "NE2" credit.
RS told me they will not honor this NE2 credit.
They recommended I call VZW to see if they would give me the $100 as an airtime credit if I bought the phone at RS. VZW escalated my request to the "upgrade department" while I was on hold -and they came back with a "no"
Looks like I'm waiting until the 11th
(although - according to VZW - eve the people who bought one can't activate it until then anyway - but I'm not sure about that)

Yes you can still participate in the new every 2 no matter where you purchase the phone. you just must be signed up for it. then after you upgrade you call customer service and they will put a $100 credit on your bill. but only if you were signed up for new every 2 before hand
