Verizon or Radioshack?

Short and sweet.
I will be a new verizon wireless customer with the purchase of this phone. Any advantages/disadvantages between purchasing at Radioshack or WZW store other than RS has it now? I want it, but I can wait until the 11th. Thanks.

I've never bought a Verizon phone from Radio Shack before - always went to an outlet. I just bought the v710 from RS today... got 10% off the first accessory (bluetooth headset) and would have received 20% the second and 30% off the third, but I didn't need anything else - the cords / cables from my old v60c work with it.

also signed up for a radio shack credit card (which will be cancelled tomorrow!) and received 10% off the order.

also purchased a 3 year service contract for $60. with this contract they give you a new battery every year for three years.

no, i don't work for radio shack. actually, i hate even going in one of their stores, but they won a customer today.

If you can wait, Id recommend getting it from Verizon, it just makes sense it would be better to get it from the source...even though Im sure there is nothing wrong with getting it from RadioShack.

I would personally get it from RadioShack, just because I cant wait any longer...but like I said, if you can wait, Id get it from Verizon if I were you ;)

why? I don't get it? WHy is it better to get it from a verizon store then RS unless the price is cheaper at a verizon store?
