Hold on... Why August 11th?

I have been reading posts for weeks and the first sign of a Verizon launch on August 11th was a guy guessing and betting it would be on that date.

Why and how do we know that for sure?

Oh man,

That thing is real? It looks like a high school advertising project. I saw that yesterday but it didn't even occur to me that it could be authentic.

Are there others like that for different phones?

Yea, here's the one for the vx7000. https://infodoc.verizonwireless.com/equipment _guide/equipment_guide/WEP/Launch_Packages/LG /vx7000.pdf It's real info. (cant wait till august 11th! 😁)

Wow,

Those are probably the worst PDF files I have ever seen. Why on earth would they make them so unprofessional? That is rediculous.

Once it is launched in one Verizon store, is it safe to say that it will be launched in all of them?

I think there's a release date that all the VZW stores go by. So i'm still hoping my local store will have it august 11th, here in California. But i think most all stores will release them the same date. 😁 (Just an educated guess.)

It's an internal document. Meant for VZW employees only on their intanet.

To be honest, I thought it looked pretty cool and was impressed that it wasn't super-duper slick. I work for a very large defense contractor and our internal PDFs aren't as nice as the ones for the V710 and the LG7000.

The external documents, ones in the stores to promote the v710 to customers will be as slick as ever and what you were likely expecting.

They're for internal use only - not customer-facing. You'll notice that generally speaking, verizon's real marketing collateral, such as in-store brochures, are nicely printed on glossy paper, etc.

Nobody outside Verizon employees is probably even supposed to see that...why it's not behind an firewall I can't say.

Well, if you notice at the bottom of every page in this pdf you'll see:
"Confidential and proprietary material for authorized Verizon Wireless personnel only. Use, disclosure or distribution of this material is not permitted to any unauthorized persons or third parties except by written agreement."

So yes, I would say these are for internal use only and not for the public to see.
