Just wondering because I got the phone from RS today, and the Bluetooth is the reason I bought it and it doesn't seem to be working the way I'd expect (To the point where I'm would return it toady if RS was still open). Is it possible that RS got an early release without all of the BT capability?

I turned on the BT functionality, but it doesn't pair with my computer, and with my v600 I was able to download my phonebook to my car(doesn't work with the 710).

When you pair with the computer, you would need to put one in "broadcast" mode, and the other in "find" mode. After playing with the V710, the "find" mode on it is pretty easy. Since the new PhoneTools (MotoTools, whatever they are calling it) will be sould with a Bluetooth connector, it should work.

You would think it should, but BT only seems to be working for headset and DUN profiles. Looks like the data transfer may be disabled hopefully someone will figure out how to make it work, or enough people will complain to Moto and force them to make it work.
