there might be screen problems with this phone
well theres 2 people on here so far that has had some screen problems with them going out!!! well i was down load some ringers from get it now, and my screen went out for about 3 seconds and i lost service for about 2 seconds, this is starting to worry me?????? for the people who has them, are you experiancing anything like this???????

You have to take into account that there is going to be a natural percentage failure rate that doesn't necessarilly indicate a problem with the phone in general. Considering that, a majority of people who have this phone were "in the know" about it early, mostly from sites like this. And since people report problems more than they do good experiences, you are talking about a very concentrated situation here.
A good percentage of the people who got the phone are probably on these forums and they are likely to point out the problems, like bad screens. This scenario is going to make the statistics of problems with the phone appear much larger and blown out of proportion then they normally would be if the phone were released to the general p...

Yes, if only 10% of the V710 owning population were on this and other forums, then there might be a problem. But if 75% of all owners are here (again, considering the RS has not offically advertised this phone to the public, not an unreasonable assumption), then the number of bad screens is probably no worse than the standard % of common failures.

My friends phone is gone. he was playing with get it now and the phone died. it won't turn back on even with car charger plugged in. it just sits there and flickers on for like .5 sec then off for a while. Its got to be broke 😢 . Any other let us know. and if any one has any ideas to bring it back to life let me know. He has already taken out the battery and put it back in to no avail. Thanks for any help
