Motorola V710
im lookin for a car charger. does it use the same one as the v60?

I used the blue desktop motorola charger (ie the crappy one with the clock) to charge my 710 all day today.
The bottom of the phone is identical to the 720/730 and the V60.

Nice job...between my fiancee and a couple of friends and my collection of past phone accessories, I've got a half-dozen home chargers and three car chargers...
I'm pretty surprised that they continue sticking with the same interface architecture, much like Palm has in the last five or so years...I'm definitely not complaining, but it makes it much less painful to upgrade knowing you won't have to spend another $75 or more duplicating all the crap you need to operate and/or enjoy whatever device is being upgraded.

The only thing about the Motorola clock desktop charger is that the rear slot won't allow charging of the v710's battery.

Didn't try it...but I keep it around the office, so eventually it will wind up charging an always-ready 720/60 battery, so better than nuffin'...
