Problems with Pix Messaging?

Has anyone had any problems sending PIX messages to the phone? Everytime i send a pix from my computer through pixplace (haven't recieved my TF card yet) it takes forever and I have to take off the battery and reset the phone to recieve the pix message. I've done the OTA numerous times and it's still not going right through.

I've used pix place to send midi files... now using as ringers. Did 3 or 4 last night. It took little while (like 1 minute) for the files to come across. I have full RF and am on 1x network.
