Buyer Beware. camera is horrible
OK, I have the phone. i will say the camera quality is far from a 1.2 mega pixel. I have a digitial camera that is a 1.3 and the phones pictures look absolutly nowhere near the quality. the pix are very grainy. and i have tried to adjust the resolution and settings. also, the phone freezes/locks ups on me alot,and i a draw a no service signal often.
otherwise the phone is pretty good. i give it a 8 out of 10.
anyone who has the phone agree? have the same problem? responses are welcome

How can you possibly give this phone 8 out of 10 if all those things are wrong with it ? Seems like those would be major problems.

im turning the phone is and getting another one, maybe its just the phone but like i said, pictures are nowhere near mega pixel quality, my vx6000 was more clear

I agree about the camera quality, but I love everything else. I have no need or desire for a camera in a phone, so the pic quality doesn't bother me at all. The "obeymemoto" voice prompts are nothing short of amazing! I basically tell my phone who I want to call or what I want it to do and it does it!! Just awesome!

I guess we are going to have to carry a flashlight around to provide better light quality. Its too bad they didnt put a better flash on the item. You have to go into the menu time everytime you want turn it on/off. It needs to be some of the phones with auto flash. Unless I am missing something and it does have autoflash.

awww. i have a vx6000 and i HATE the quality of the pix. i was really hopping that this one was much better.

A lot of people have the same problem. My pics look grainy, have lines in them and the camera looks like there is static in the pics when taking them. A few of us have posted on the howardforums about the same thing. The phone is great but I am exchanging mine whenever RS gets more in. I even think my camera lens is crooked. One would think moto wouldn't have released such a nice phone with a messed up camera in quite a few of them.
