I believe there is a software glitch when 1) using the screen saver with the phone unplugged, 2) screen blacking out when plugged in.

1) With the screen saver off, your display will stay on as long as your current "display timeout" setting.

With the screen saver on, your display will only stay on as long as the screen saver delay setting plus the backlight setting.

For example, if your backlight setting is 50s and your screen saver delay is 1 minute, the display shuts off after 1 minute 50 seconds (assuming your display timeout setting is at least 2 minutes). If backlight setting at 50 seconds, screen saver setting at 5 minutes and display setting at 10 minutes, display goes black at 5 minutes 50 seconds.

If so, the screen saver...

I figured it out, go to initial setup and click on display timeout. If u notice, the time is 1 min the same as the screensavor time so it either cuts off the phonoe the same time as the screensavor or cuts off before the screensaver even gets a chance to load. So jus set the Display Timeout to a minute higher then the Screensaver and the Screensaver should show and then afta the min's up, the screen will blank out as usual lol, but yea its not a glith, i jus figured that out a min ago.

Try changing your display timeout to 5 minutes... tell me if stays on the whole five or goes out after 1 minute 50 seconds.

If your backlight is set at 50 seconds, your display timeout for 5 minutes and your screen saver for 1 minute, this is what happens:

After 50 seconds, the backlight goes out and your screen goes dim. After 1 minute the screen saver comes on. After 1 minute and 50 seconds, the whole display goes blank.

Shouldn't it stay on for the 5 minutes and then go blank??

Do you get the same results?

in a way, i don't think its a bug i jus guess a wrong configuration, but as long as i got my Screensaver to work, i guess i don't care, so i jus recommend foolin around with those options untill u get it to work.
